There will be no charge for the Saturday lunch, but we need to know how many are coming.

YOUTH FUND – Each summer we try to make it possible for all our children aged 9-17 to attend an Orthodox summer camp. This is very worthwhile and our children love it. They return with a deeper bond to Orthodoxy and many Orthodox friends from all over the country. It is expensive; tuition for two weeks is $650 per child. Some generous donations are needed if we are to fund all our children.

CLAUDIA MORRIS will perform in The Sound of Music at Actor’s Playhouse in Pearl Feb. 28 and March 1,2 at 7:30 p.m. and Mar. 3 at 2 p.m. To reserve tickets call 601-664-0930. For more information see www.actorsplayhouse.net.

THE PHARISEE went up to the temple with a proud and empty heart; the publican bowed himself in repentance.
They both stood before thee, O Master:
The one, through boasting, lost his reward,
But the other, with tears and sighs, won thy blessing:
Strengthen me, O Christ our God, as I weep in thy presence,
Since thou are the lover of mankind! – Vespers
